Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. The role involves utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and predict potential machine failures, minimizing downtime, and ensuring optimal machine performance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Review and analyze gathered data to predict pending failure.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
• Work with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like changing filters, oil, and grease.
• Provide support to minimize unplanned downtime due to machine failure.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings, initiate improvement plans for manufacturing equipment.
• Stay current with predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.
• Comply with all safety procedures and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in reliability technology or an associate degree in industrial maintenance and repairs.
• Military experience or related certifications are a plus.
• Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a group environment.
