As an RN in hospice care, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing care plans, managing symptoms, administering medications, educating patients and families, and maintaining detailed documentation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Conduct regular home visits to assess patient conditions.
• Manage pain and symptoms associated with terminal illness.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes and goals of hospice care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and care plans.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hospice in-home experience within the past 3 years.
• HCHB experience required.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association.
• Valid RN license in Georgia.
