Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Residential Supervisor to oversee and manage the Residential Advisors' activities and operations on assigned shifts. In this role, you will ensure compliance with PRH requirements for the Residential Department and play a key role in meeting student needs effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the residential program to guarantee the timely fulfillment of student needs.
  • Lead by example in demonstrating and adhering to the Company Core Values and operating principles.
  • Direct and plan for the Social Development Department's requirements, managing residential living activities for student benefit.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to enhance team performance.
  • Provide detailed activity reports to Center Management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain organized and clean living conditions in dormitories, fostering self-discipline and respect among staff and students.
  • Oversee social skills and student leadership programs, offering guidance as necessary.
  • Assist in resolving student concerns by conducting dormitory meetings and collaborating with other departments.
  • Ensure compliance by conducting audits of student Residential files and staff shift reports.
  • Respond promptly to student emergencies or distressing situations, offering appropriate assistance and support.
  • Ensure equal employment and affirmative action goals are achieved within the department.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, selection, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent, along with two years of experience working with youth and young adults.
  • Preferred: Minimum requirements plus previous Job Corps experience.
  • Knowledge: Effective communication skills with disadvantaged youths, State driver's license, CPR/1st Aid & AED certification, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and the capability to inspire and motivate staff.
