Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join Omark Consultants Inc as Utility Inspection Technicians. As a Leak Survey Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of gas distribution systems by conducting inspections, checking gas meters, and detecting leaks and corrosion. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in various weather conditions, and a commitment to public safety.
Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections of gas meters and underground distribution gas lines.
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods on different terrains.
- Utilize simple hand tools and technology such as smartphones and tablets.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Ability to lift heavy items and walk 3 to 4 miles per day.
- Valid Driver's License and Safe Driving Record.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
