Sr Electrical Engineer - Manufacturing

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Toyo Tires NA. As a key member of our new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in White, Georgia, you will be involved in designing, testing, installing, and maintaining large-scale electronic equipment or machinery. Your expertise in electrical engineering will be crucial in ensuring equipment and systems are process capable and efficiently contribute to our production methods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Design, test, install, and maintain electronic equipment for manufacturing or power generation.
• Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and engineers to ensure equipment meets quality standards.
• Research and analyze data to determine feasibility of design applications.
• Direct engineering personnel in testing apparatus and equipment fabrication.
• Recommend design modifications and evaluate equipment capability for future manufacturing needs.

Technical Skills Required

• Troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Design or modify electrical controls to improve reliability and productivity.
• Competent in programming and troubleshooting motion controllers.
• Read, interpret, and modify complex PLC and Servo programs.
• Perform calibration of electrical systems and components.
• Manage projects from concept to implementation.
• Interface effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal departments.
