Flexential is seeking an ambitious Account Executive - Colocation to join our innovative team. As a Data Center Specialist, Sales, you will drive sales of our colocation products and services by targeting specific data centers. Your role involves identifying opportunities, crafting solutions, negotiating deals, and influencing decision-makers, contributing directly to our business growth strategy. This position requires a proactive approach to lead generation, seamless sales execution, and market insights.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote Flexential's colocation products to potential clients.
  • Develop leads and expand sales within designated data center regions.
  • Maintain sales momentum to sustain a robust pipeline for future business.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets by closing deals effectively.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, coordinating with Subject Matter Experts as needed.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for opportunity management and sales documentation.
  • Oversee the Flexential Master Service Agreements contracting process.
  • Engage in productive meetings with prospects through various communication channels.
  • Cultivate relationships with networking partners, including channel partners, to foster business growth.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in sales management with executives and departmental personnel.
  • Proven success in team-based selling environments with Subject Matter Experts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com for comprehensive sales cycle management.
  • Self-motivated individual with adaptability to changing market dynamics.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management tools.
  • Positive and determined attitude towards meeting objectives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.
