Job Description

Flexential is seeking an Account Executive specializing in colocation services to join our innovative team. This role involves presenting and selling our cutting-edge products to potential clients in designated data centers, contributing significantly to our business objectives. The Account Executive will be responsible for lead generation, opportunity qualification, solution design, pricing, negotiation, and deal closure. Additionally, providing valuable market insights to shape our business strategy is a key aspect of this position.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote Flexential's colocation offerings to potential customers.
  • Generate leads and cultivate new sales within targeted regions.
  • Maintain sales activities to sustain and expand the pipeline.
  • Achieve monthly sales quotas through successful deal closures.
  • Manage the sales process end-to-end from lead generation to contract signing.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to enhance the sales process.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for efficient opportunity management.
  • Oversee contract negotiations for Flexential Master Service Agreements.
  • Engage with prospects through various communication channels.
  • Cultivate relationships with networking partners and channel associates.
  • Perform additional duties as instructed by Sales Leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in sales engagement with C-level and departmental personnel.
  • Track record of success in team-based sales environments leveraging Subject Matter Experts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com for comprehensive sales process management.
  • Self-motivated with adaptability in dynamic market landscapes.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management tools.
  • Strong determination to succeed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.

Benefits are subject to change by the company. Base Pay Range: $62,000 - $85,000 (Depending on experience, location, and qualifications). Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus based on personal and company performance.
