Job Description

Flexential is seeking a dynamic Account Executive - Colocation to join our team. As a Data Center Specialist, Sales, you will be responsible for presenting and selling Flexential colocation products and services to prospective customers in select data centers. The role involves prospecting, qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, pricing, negotiating, and closing deals. Additionally, you will provide valuable input on prospects' needs and market trends.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

  • Promote colocation products and services to potential customers.
  • Generate leads and develop new sales within targeted data center regions.
  • Maintain sales activity to fill the forecast pipeline.
  • Close sales in line with monthly quotas.
  • Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts during the sales process.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to manage and document sales processes.
  • Manage the contracting process for Master Service Agreements.
  • Establish relationships with networking partners.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in managing sales with C-suite and departmental staff.
  • Successful history in team selling environments.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft applications.
  • Self-motivated with adaptability to evolving markets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the technology sector.
