Job Description
We are seeking an Account Executive to join Flexential, a leading colocation company. As a Data Center Specialist, Sales, you will be responsible for presenting and selling Flexential colocation products and services to prospective customers within select data centers. Your role will involve prospecting, qualifying opportunities, designing solutions, pricing, negotiating, and closing business deals. Additionally, you will provide valuable input regarding market trends and prospects' needs.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Promote Flexential's colocation products and services.
- Generate leads and develop new sales within targeted data centers.
- Maintain sales activity to support the forecast pipeline.
- Close sales in alignment with assigned monthly quotas.
- Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts during the sales process.
- Utilize Salesforce.com for managing sales opportunities.
- Manage the contracting process for Master Service Agreements.
- Conduct meetings with prospects via voice, video, and face-to-face interactions.
- Establish and nurture relationships with networking partners and channel partners.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in managing the sales process with C-suite and departmental staff.
- Proven success in team selling environments with Subject Matter Experts.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated with an adaptable attitude towards market changes.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Word, and contact management software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, with at least 4 years of successful acquisition sales experience.
- Technology sector concentration is advantageous.

Compensation
Base Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually. Actual pay depends on experience and qualifications.
Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus based on personal and company performance.
