Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure to oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in our data centers. This role focuses on ensuring mission-critical uptime, coaching and leading teams, driving operational efficiencies, and enhancing business effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Lead 24x7 facility operations to achieve 99.999% uptime and comply with SLAs.
• Mentor teams on best practices and drive operational excellence.
• Identify and implement improvements for operational and financial efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain company policies and procedures.
• Oversee disaster recovery exercises and equipment installations.
• Create maintenance procedures and training materials.
• Conduct facility checks, customer tours, and equipment monitoring.
• Collaborate with management on various duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in a management role with direct reports.
• Experience in critical infrastructure environments.
• Applicable military or trade experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced electrical/mechanical certifications or relevant engineering degree.
• 5+ years in data center operations with management experience.
• Hands-on problem-solving skills and root cause analysis.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, lift up to 50lbs, and travel as needed.

Base Pay Range

• Estimated $112,700 - $145,400 annual salary range.
