Job Description
We are currently seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (Cath Lab Tech) to join our team at HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital. This role involves assisting physicians in performing various cardiac, vascular, neuro, and electrophysiology procedures. As a technologist, you will be responsible for monitoring patients during procedures, maintaining a sterile field, and interpreting diagnostic data. Additionally, this position requires operating equipment that produces ionizing radiation and supporting education, training, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Position Details
- Full-time position, with options for 4-10's or 3-12's schedule
- Minimal call responsibilities due to a dedicated call team
- Eligible for a sign-on bonus of $20,000.00
- Located within 25 minutes from St. Louis, Missouri
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in radiologic technology, allied health, or related field
- Experience in radiology/diagnostic imaging preferred
- Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography (RT(R)) by ARRT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required or obtained within 6 months of hire
