Job Description
The Data Center Operations Technician I position at Flexential offers a dynamic opportunity in a 24x7x365 environment. As a key member of the team, you will provide essential physical and Level II technical support to customers, ensuring top-notch service delivery.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
- Maintain professionalism during data center duties.
- Troubleshoot and document technical issues using the Flexential ticketing system.
- Follow company policies, processes, and procedures.
- Support 24/7 operations with flexibility in shift schedules.
- Perform physical and logical installations of services.
- Maintain data center cleanliness and perform Facilities Rounds.
- Process shipping and receiving tasks.
- Operate and manage Badge Access Security System.
- Assist Critical Infrastructure Manager (CIM) and maintain inventory levels.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in IT Support environment.
- Technical proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications such as Network +, Security +, CCNA, Microsoft MCP, or MCSA are a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical agility and strength.
- Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions.
- Capable of handling heavy objects and cabling installation.
Hourly Pay Range
The pay range for this position is estimated to be $19.33 - $29.00 per hour.
