Job Description
We are hiring a Data Center Operations Technician I at Flexential to join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to our customers and resources. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining data center operations, and following company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
- Provide timely resolution and escalation of Facility and customer issues.
- Maintain a professional attitude while performing data center duties.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and document them using the ticketing system.
- Follow Flexential Support and Data Center policies, processes, and procedures.
- Assist in physical and logical installations of services.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the Data Center and surrounding areas.
- Perform Facilities Rounds and escalate pertinent information.
- Work with local management to maintain cabling and inventory levels.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for providing great customer experience.
- Understanding of Windows and Microsoft Operating systems.
- Self-starter and motivated individual.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Prefer 1 year experience in an IT Support environment.
- Network +, Security +, or CCNA desired.
- Microsoft MCP or MCSA preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders and work aloft.
- Ability to work in cold temperature environments.
- Ability to maneuver pallet jacks and lift heavy objects.
- Ability to pull and install cabling.
Hourly Pay Range
The hourly pay range for this position is estimated to be $19.33-$22.67, depending on experience and qualifications.
