General Manager

Job Description

Early to Rise, a unique brunch destination in the Bay Area, is looking for a seasoned General Manager to join our vibrant team. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, effective leadership, and complete responsibility for our restaurant.

Leadership Characteristics

• Manage and lead with passion, drive, and awareness.
• Communicate effectively and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
• Support company rules and ensure policies are implemented.

Scheduling & Time Management

• Oversee and approve schedules strategically.
• Be present during busy shifts and ensure the smooth running of the restaurant.
• Provide ongoing feedback and support to the team.

Development of Staff Members

• Identify strengths and weaknesses of team members and provide feedback.
• Work with chefs to ensure quality standards are met.
• Conduct regular manager meetings to discuss operations and service.

Admin/Time Management

• Be knowledgeable in all facets of restaurant operations.
• Ensure facility and equipment are well-maintained.
• Operate the restaurant in compliance with labor laws and health guidelines.
