Manager, Enterprise Security

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Manager of Enterprise Security to join Flexential, a leading provider of data center and hybrid IT solutions. As the Manager of Enterprise Security, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of Flexential sites, assets, and personnel through the design, implementation, and management of security services and systems. This position requires a candidate who is motivated, capable of multitasking and leading initiatives, and possesses strong communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage security staff and contracts both in-house and outsourced.
• Act as a security subject matter expert for interactions with employees, customers, and vendors.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures in line with industry standards.
• Manage security budgets and expenses.
• Recruit, train, and supervise security officers and guards.
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot physical security systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Travel as necessary to oversee security operations.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in managing people, projects, and processes.
• 3-5 years of relevant technical experience with low voltage security systems.
• Experience in managing security budgets and resources.
• Proficiency in networking, switch configurations, and firewall principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Genetec or willingness to obtain certification.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience managing security projects in a multi-location environment.
• Proficiency in Genetec or similar system architecture.
• Experience with network design, Windows Server, and Video Management Systems software.
• Certifications in relevant IT hardware and software applications.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods, walk or stand for 25% of the time, lift 50 lbs, and travel occasionally.
