Operator (Southeast)

Job Description

Hepaco Inc, a premier environmental and emergency services company in the Southeast, is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join their team. With a focus on quality, safety, and customer service, Hepaco is dedicated to exceeding industry standards in environmental cleanup.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety for self, coworkers, and individuals on the job site.
• Operate heavy equipment including Excavators, Bulldozers, Loaders, and Backhoes.
• Follow site grading and operations plans, read grade stakes, and operate in a medium to fine grade environment.
• Work independently or with other Heavy Equipment Operators.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age due to federal safety regulations.
• Hold OSHA 40HR HAZWOPER certification.
• Pass pre-employment background check, drug and alcohol screen, and driving record check.
• Demonstrate physical strength and dexterity to perform tasks, with ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds or more.
• 5+ years of related experience preferred.

Work Environment

• Frequent travel, including extended out-of-town travel.
• Work outside in various weather conditions, exposed to fumes, chemicals, and vibration.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment as per safety standards, including occasional respirator use.
