Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are currently hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team at Meade District Hospital. There are four open positions available:

1. Full Time Night Shift RN (7:00 pm to 7:00 am)
2. Full Time Day Shift RN (7:00 am to 7:00 pm)
3. Full Time Day Shift Float RN (Float between Pre/Post Op and the Med/Surg Floor)
4. Full Time Day Shift Float RN (Float between Cardiac Rehab and the Med/Surg Floor)

Our Registered Staff Nurses play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. They are responsible for maintaining nursing standards, critical thinking, and overall patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and implement departmental policies, quality improvement, and safety standards.
• Evaluate patient care outcomes and adjust nursing processes as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure optimal care.
• Assist in patient examinations, procedures, and direct care.
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs & IAs.
• Administer medications and assess patient pain.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and dignity.
• Act as a liaison between administration, patients, and healthcare providers.
• Formulate individualized care plans and evaluate their effectiveness daily.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Kansas license.
• Continuing education requirements and certifications in ACLS, PALS, and CPR.
• Demonstrated competency in patient care and supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a healthcare setting.
